Everything is so fresh out in the woods now. The flowers are blooming, plants of all kinds are sprouting up, and the trees are growing new leaves. I photographed these freshly sprouted wildflowers earlier this morning.

I’ve always loved trees. I photographed this one in Alabama’s Lake Guntersville St. Park during our hike this morning. It sure was refreshing to get out into the woods.

I have always loved photographing leaves. I captured these fresh green hedge leaves yesterday. They made a great spring photograph.

Our blackberry plants are still small, but they produced a few blackberries last year. They’re blooming and getting ready for another crop now. Hopefully we’ll have some blackberries this summer.

Our Yaupon Holly produces little white flowers during the spring. I shot several photos of them, and decided to upload my best one to my blog.

Dandelions are popping up everywhere in our back yard. Their fluffy seeds can be seen blowing through the air. This hansom dandelion made a great portrait.

We planted several beds of strawberries a few years back, and had a great crop. Strawberry plants only last for two years, so most of the plants are long gone by now. When I went out this morning, I discovered this strawberry plant sprouting out of the ground. It already had a blossom on it! I wonder if it will produce any strawberries?

Spring is making the grass so green!! This cluster of tall grass blades made a interesting snapshot.

The blossoms on our flower and cherry tree are all turning pink, then brown, and then falling off, but I was still able to make a beautiful portrait of this pink cluster of blossoms.

Our almond tree is getting ready to produce some cherries! These beautiful white blossoms made a gorgeous photograph.

I captured this small, hardly noticeable purple wildflower growing beside our garden this morning. My photo turned out beautifully.

I found these flowers growing on my Dog Wood tree this morning. They’re not as colorful as some flowers, but still made a good photograph.

Our olive tree blooms in early spring. It’s blossoms are some of the most beautiful of the season.

This photo of the towering gateway arch is one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever took. Last years visit to the arch was the first real adventure of our trip Wyoming and South Dakota.
