I captured this dandelion growing in the shade of our backyard hedge. It looks so bright and radiant with that beautiful yellow in contrast with the dark shade of the hedge. That blurred yellow spot in the background is a second dandelion.

This beautiful yellow dandelion made a great ground level shot. Although dandelions are a bit annoying when they shoot up in your garden or yard, they are still beautiful wildflowers and make excellent photos.
Dandelions are sprouting up everywhere in our yard, like they always do during spring. I captured this tiny bug exploring one of them yesterday. I didn’t even notice him till after I had snapped the photo.
Dandelions are popping up everywhere in our back yard. Their fluffy seeds can be seen blowing through the air. This hansom dandelion made a great portrait.
I was able to capture a good picture of this somewhat unattractive dandelion scattering its seeds.
